The right way to connect Arturia keyboard to a notebook needs to be done with power usb cable. Using that traditional midi IN/OUT cables (the Arturia keyboard have that old philips connection) the bad behavior you will get. Will not synchronize, aftertouch and modulation wheel could stop to work. To fix this you will need The Laboratory Midi Control Center. But using that "traditional midi In/Out connections (philips plugs with 5 pins), all the time you will get this message: The keyboard has not been detected.
Using that power usb cable the keyboard and software will be synchronized.
(i'm speaking eingrish, of course
), isn't my native language, so...sorry).
And all this things happens to me because im using an external power supplie, so, i thought that usb power cable was'nt need. But....we need that! And forget that traditional midi 5 pins cable. Unneed!
One thing more: if you have Mini V, or any other softwares installed in your hard disk and will like to edit inside the Analog Experience Software, go to preferences and put that OFF to ON.
BUT..... do this in Standalone mode. I tryed in Cubase and didn't work, only in Standalone mode.
Best regards to all
