Should I buy one??
« on: November 10, 2012, 02:59:33 pm »
Hi guys, I just joined here. Been looking for my perfect midi controller and truly thought I had found it in the 61 key laboratory. However, the user reviews and the lack of support really make me think twice about purchasing. Here is my setup and maybe you can tell me if it'll work:

Macbook pro quad-core 4 gig ram running lion

Apogee interface coupled with several different controllers

I originally wanted one of these because I've recently taken a huge interest in Mg-like sound synthesis. Please let me know if you would still recommend buying one or if I should keep looking :)

Thanks!!

Yes, please! Opinions! I am in the same boat. This looks good to me, but I know all controllers will have problems somewhere, on some systems.
I want to know if there are any show-stopping issues with this unit. It looks killer so far, but saw one bad review on a site and wanted to check.

I have a PC with PLENTY of power.
Win7 64
Quad Core
8 Gig Ram

You'll get a very good build MIDI controller keyboard with aftertouch and many other features, which I personally like and use much. Then (on top, if that joke is allowed ;)) you'll get a fantastic and big library with pure analogue sound. Don't expect the *real* hardware sounds behind it, but for simple add-ons in a project it's pretty more than just sufficient.
