Crash upon launch in standalone mode? => the solution

Some users encounter a crash upon launch in standalone mode, however the license stuff is OK.

Thanks antoine, that fixed my problem, but...still...very sloppy release so far. Every update has required a "fix". How about have the "updater" actually check for and "Fix" everything??? Novel idea, huh?

If you're still running the latest release version, you should really check out the beta thread!
Post a request there and you should recieve an e-mail with a download link for the beta2.
