Analog Laboratory questions
« on: December 07, 2010, 11:28:09 pm »
hi,

I have two questions about the Analog Laboratory:

> has it an audio-input / can I use it as a FX plugin ?

> do I need ALL synths to do ANY preset-editing on the original plugins ?
   I miss only the JUPITER in my setup.

thanks and greetings,
bd

Hi!

@bdhm
Sorry, you can’t use it to process an incoming audio signal.
As for the in-depth patch editing, you don’t need all the plugins to be installed. In your case, you will be able to open all plugins in full view except the Jupiter.
Of course, the key parameter knobs are still pre-assigned within the Jupiter presets.

@Pascal
This feature is not available in the current version, but our developers might implement it in a further update. We will keep you posted.

Musically yours,

Romain

hi Romain

thanks for the info so far. im a bit disappointed to see that its not implemented yet. but therefor you released the software sooner (i thought it were ment to be released in january).

i really would like to see this feature.. as of my knowledge over c++ and the juce-framework you can get this at nearly zero cost and would gain a lot of flexibility. so its kind of a nobrainer to decide to implement this in the next update. think of the possibility to import thirdparty soundbanks as the vengeance soundset for the miniMg. they then could it transfer easily to AL and give theyre presets own filter-arguments!! or if they dont, users can do this by theyr own.. so its a lot about having this or not.

cheers pascal

I noticed THE LABORATORY says it ends in march and it doesn't appear on my favorite music site, is it going to stop being made? I really wanted to buy this product in the future but I can't if they stop making it  :(

They will be available for purchase at the end OF march.
Small mistake in wording I'm afraid, so no worries.
They've only begun making them! Pre-ordered mine late August, so still waiting.

Hey there,

here is a chance that you shouldn't miss!

If you own the V-Collection 2 (or any single synth) you can use all the presets available also in The Laboratoy, but if you own only the Laboratory it's not possible to import other presets.

But if you look at these thread and the Solutions! posted here you should have at least your favorite sounds added to the Laboratory.
Or all....  ;D

Don't forget to applaud for me if these tips were helpful for you!    ;)
