Arturia Mgerfoogers
« on: March 12, 2004, 06:26:04 am »
Is it possible to make software Mgerfoogers? So that you can run an audio source like a guitar into the computer, through a virtual Mgerfooger and out to an amp?

Also, can you use the already existing Arturia synths in that way? can you run a guitar or bass through it? If not, is it a possibility in the future?

On the subject of running audio through stuff, I would like to see software tube amps recreated. Like old Fenders, to Mesa Boogies, Bogners, etc.....
I'm sure it's a different technology, but I bet Arturia could make them the most accurate.

The future of VSTs are real promising.

Software Mgerfoogers were made by Bomb Factory(''). Their entire line of plug-ins were bought by Digidesign. I don't expect to see an AU or VST version coming from them.

The MiniMgV can be used as an effect plug-in in your host software, so it does have audio input.
