Can I run CS80v on PC and record to Mac using ProTools LE?

Given the fact that CS80v seems far less CPU intensive on PCs than Macs, does anyone know how I could link my Mac G4 Quicksilver with an old 500MHz Sony Viao desktop to run CS80v successfully? Ultimately, I'd need to be able to record CS80v sounds from the PC into ProTools LE on the Mac. Both machines have firewire.

Sorry, guess this will seem like a really dumb question to some.

well since mac and pc are totally different languages i would have to say no you cant. you could record something on your pc and maybe convert the file format to MAS for macs.
