It is interesting to observe that this discussion was originally opened on April 24th of 2009. And at that early date, Arturia’s Brass users were already expecting an "imminent" release of Brass 2.0.
Now, more than eight months later, we are still expecting that… now not so... “imminent” release of Brass 2.0.
We finally got a date: the 24th. Sadly enough it is the 25th and we still don’t have the software that we so vehemently desire.
Patients? Yes, we are. But. For how long? I already gave up and spend over $250.00 in another “similar” product. However, I still want my free upgrade to Brass 2 (mostly because I believe it to be better than the one that I just purchased).
One sign, however (whether good or bad omen I am not sure): the so infamous “BRASS 2.0 COMING SOON” sign on the home page of Arturia is gone. I really hope this to be a good sign. So, beside patient we also need to be positive.
In any case, dear friends of Arturia: since one have to sign up to be a BETA tester of Prophet V 2.0, do we also have to sign up to be a BETA tester of Brass 2.0?. Please let us know. Since we have patiently waited so long, I wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to get Brass 2.0 even in the BETA stages for a lack of registration or nothing like that.
