Arpeggiator not responding to Logic midi-clock

When i play or record the CS80 arp. with the sync-button on the arp.on,the arp. tempo just "runs" away after a few bars.
So it is impossibel to use The CS80 arpeggiator linked to the sequencer.
Im using a powermac G4 Dual with 2G ram that runs under Mac OSX,the sequencerhost is Logic 6.3.2 Platinum and the audiocard is a Audiophile 2496 from M-Audio.

                  What's the problem!!!!
