Hi Slammah,
I prefer music and synthesis
It seems Wacom recently realize a such kind of marker for tablet which recognizes rotation movements...so the Mopot's idea (electromagnetic real potentiometer to "touch" virtuals ones) is not so ridiculous.
...anyway, even without that, it's not a ridiculous concept

The new screens from the I phone are also multi touch....
would a slider multi touch not work better if not just as well???
the CS80 has a total of 5 rotarys on it...Volume , pitch , fine tune, tremolo and chorus speeds, everything else is quick to grab via sliders and rockers....
Arps like the 2600 and odyssey went for sliders too....
It occured to me that you can operate a slider with 1 finger or a thumb, but a knob takes a finger and a thumb.....I only have 1 thumb on each hand, so to tweak 2 knobs simotaneously, I would have to stop playing for my keys for rotary's....
wheras a multi touch screen with sliders that can't get lost makes more sence to me.....since you could move multiple sliders while playing...
