Layering voices

I haven't bought the v yet, but it's going to be my next software purchase.
I know the CS-80v has the same polyphony as the Yamaha CS-80. but can you layer sounds? The original synth could have two sounds layered either in unison, several octaves, or even fifths apart. The demos sound so very clean, but with the two oscillators on the actual synth, there was a lovely fat richness, which the demos haven't quite captured. I don't get that sense of two oscillator layering the original possessed.

Also, I know this probably eats up the CPU, but are there plans to expand the polyphony to 16?

Like the original, the CS-80V have two sound layers. But it can have more  because you can select one sound ( with the two layers) for each voices. Each voices can be tuned, paned as you want. That's why it is limiting to eight voices. The GUI would be to complicated for 16 voices !

And each voices can be managed by one of the four Midi Zone.

All these features are below the multimode hatch.
