SparkLE MIDI Control Center won't connect
« on: December 29, 2013, 01:54:49 am »
I'm running SparkLE in Win 7, 64 bit. MMC won't connect to the unit, no matter whether or not it's in Midi mode (i'm in standalone trying to do this as opposed to doing it in the VST). Unfortunately, MMC just keeps putting up an alert that spark isn't connected (it is), and  to change the unit to Midi mode (it already is). Or worse, it crashes. Any ideas? I love to install your Ableton template...

Also, I know it's off topic, but why does Spark try to install in X86?

Shouldn't MIDI Control Center be MCC, not MMC?  ;D

I was finally able to get MMC connected to the SparkLE. Am I to understand, after all of this, that it won't actually open the factory.smc file, because it's a different filetype??

The Ableton template is actually already included in the new MCC, it's the Default template. You don't need to import the factory.smc file.
