Can't Find Keyboard. Make sure it's connected and retry...?

I;m using the MIDI control center and it won't let me update firmware or map parameters or anything because it won't see that it is clearly plugged in...I put it in Update mode and everything what do I do? I'm on firmware 1.18

OSX 10.8.5 German

Both way´s on Mac not working for me, but
with Windows 7 it works out of the box.
