Origin Sequencer Lights Suggestion...
« on: April 11, 2013, 03:45:42 pm »
I love being able to have multiple sequences playing simultaneously and interacting with them in real time.  It's a very creative way of working...

I think it would be very useful if, when a sequence with more than 16 steps was running, there was some kind of visual indication as to whether the first 16 notes, or the notes after those, were actually playing.  There is no way to tell as far as I can tell.  Perhaps the Play/Stop button could be made to flash when the second section of the sequence was playing?

This would be useful because I sometimes have sequences of different lengths and/or different tempos playing at the same time.  Combine this with empty sequences, which play nothing for a given number of beats, and it can be very difficult to keep track of exactly where each sequencer is for entry/exit cues.  A visual indictor, as suggested above would be very useful.

Anyone else think this would be a useful performance enhancement?

I've lots of other suggestions/requests, but this is the element most impacting on my playing at the moment...

Andreas
