need help getting spark to Work in cubase

so i turned off private midi ports and i have tried all sorts of combinations but i cant get cubase to record directly from spark. im playing the pads while in record mode then when im finished the cursor goes to the beginning of the track as if nothing was recorded how do i fix this thanx alott...

i got it to work by doing this INPUT: 1-Spark- Midi Out  OUTPUT: Spark....Is this correct or did i just do some crazy method

wait no i didnt. the mute and solo doesnt work when im trying to make the beat build within spark.. im so lost i need a spark for dummies book

Yes this is the method to record MIDI from Spark into Cubase.
