MINIBRUTE octave selection/lfo rate/arpeg tempo etc NOT WORKING!!!

I bought the Minibrute in August and hasn't given me any problems until I turned it on yesterday. The octave selector isn't working, I can't work the LFO rate at all, and the Arpeggiator's tempo selection just stays at its fastest rate and can't be slowed down whatsoever.

I must emphasize the fact that this synth has been in a tidy case and has not been tampered with or mishandled in any way since I bought it.

If anybody has any suggestions on how to handle this matter, it wouldn't be greatly appreciated. even though I'm half expecting to be told something along the lines of "Oh dude, your synth is fried. I guess you'll need to take it in to get repaired. Hope you have a warranty!"

do the lfo and arpeggiator still work?  just permanently on max speed?


or do neither work at all really?  because depending on the issues observed, it could be a loose ribbon cable inside the machine, an easy fix, just has to be opened up and the cable inserted.

clearly a loose cable inside.
please use enclosed Technote to open the machine, check for the connectors, one of them should be loose or unconnected.
I hope It will help, if not, please open a case at the technical support desk.

loose ribbon huh...yeah that sounds like an easy fix. thank you for the technote attatchment. i'll check it out when i get home from work today
