sounds missing from pads?

Hi.
Spark, Ableton, Mac, nothing funny with my set up.

All the time... I have a factory kit (no pattern), write patterns, save set, blah blah...

Then i hit pads on the controller, and well, no sound.
During playback, all sounds are present, but it's like it is un-linked from the controller.
Anyone else experience this?
Re-load doesn't help.

Again, samples are not changing locations in the computer, it just doesn't work.

I have a few question to try to find out what's wrong.
Are the other controls (knobs/buttons/touchpad) working?
Are you using VST and/or AU plugin?

Just to make sure, are pads blinking on the hardware and software when you press a pad on the hardware? As Kevin asked, are all the other functions working? hardware transport buttons, knobs, XY ... ?

If not, maybe all you have to do is synchronize the Spark controller, via the dedicated button on the top right of the software's interface.

Another thing you can check is whether you have "fixed velocity" activated in the preferences, with the velocity set to 0 or close to 0. This may lead to having no sound when pressing pads.
