I recently purchased a Microfreak 2nd hand and it's working fine aside from one issue: The preset knob only goes down, no matter which way I turn it. Turning it clockwise or counterclockwise does not matter. When powered on, it starts at a patch number around 120, and can browse any patch below that, but can't go higher. Similarly, when going to the utility menu, I'm unable to do anything. Pressing the knob in does work to select. Just seems like a strange glitch.
I have updated the firmware, but can't perform a factory reset due to not being able to browse the utility menu properly. Any ideas on what else I might try? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
