Has anyone replaced a USB I/O port on a minilab or anything for that matter, where to get? How difficult is it? any help/advice appreciated.

I replaced mine on my keystep. I bought a pack of them from eBay. Yes it's fiddly to replace. If pulling electronic equipment apart and soldering / desoldering components is a mystic art to you, you will need to find someone who can do it. I am trying not to be judgemental, but most people who ask 'how easy is it to repair my xyz' do not have the required experience / aptitude / competence to repair their xyz and likely will make a hash of it. Those who have the required experience / aptitude / competence do not ask, they just get on with it.
