Single Band Compressor Effect
« on: March 10, 2023, 05:10:45 am »
The Multi-Comp is great, but can also be pretty extreme and colorful with what it does to the sound (especially with the limited macro controls available to shape it further). I think a single band Compressor could be a nice wishlist effect for the MiniFreak. If it had some subtypes with aggressive ratios and one of the FX knobs controlled make-up gain, it'd be great for beefing up a sound and incorporating a wet/dry knob could allow for parallel compression.

The macros for fx knob controls could be something like:
Time: Attack/Release
Intensity: Threshold/Make-Up Gain
Amount: Wet/Dry

Different subtypes contain different compression ratios, along with different threshold or attack/release ranges, etc.
