I would never have thought of this if not for the minilogue XD and the ability with the digital oscillator to bypass the filter. This means you have two different waveforms and can have two different envelopes (depending on the SDK being used), creating a sort of faux bitimbrality. With so many great waves available and different modulation sources, it seems limiting to have both oscillators run through the same filter and have that modulated identically for both oscillators.
