Analog Lab V - Keylab 49 Essential Controller
« on: January 15, 2023, 05:21:36 pm »
So, I was about to purchase Analog Lab V for $199 when I noticed that Keylab 49 Essential Controller costs $209 (Amazon) and comes with the Analog Lab software. So, my question is this...is the Analog Lab software that comes for FREE with the Keylab 49 Essential Controller the same exact software that's being sold here (https://www.arturia.com/products/software-instruments/analoglab-v/overview) for $199? If so, why on earth would anyone buy the software by itself when you could spend $10 more and get a "free" MIDI keyboard as well?! I feel like I'm missing something here?

I have no idea about a Amazon sale product. Has'nt the intention to search for it.
But i guess that depend on if the Analog Lab is a Intro or a Lite version. It's about the number of presets it has only.
It look like the Analog Lab following the Essential controllers on Arturias website is the same version as the version sold individually. I don't think that allways have been the case for the Essential controllers.

There might be a price difference, if you own Analog Lab on it's own or you have it in a controller package, if you buy more software from Arturia - like V-Collection. At least some times every year, but perhaps allways. Your price for more software perhaps also depend on the price you have been paying. I don't own a Arturia controller, so can't tell for sure.

You can allways ask Arturia sale to be sure.
