Hello,
Analog Lab does'nt include any full instruments. It use presets made with the full applications in V-Collection and with Pigments.
In Analog Lab you have limited editing possibilities, unless you own the full application a preset is made in.
None of Arturias software instruments including none V-Collection instruments are using samples like in example UVI's, Omnisphere, NI Kontakt and other sample based emulations does, if that's what you mean.
Arturias emulations are true emulations.
Mellotron originally used tape recordings, so Mellotron V use samples instead, but all other things are coded in that instrument too.
It's the same for the emulated samplers like CMI V and Emulator II V, that also originally used samples.
Also the Synthclavier V's sampler part use samples like the original, but the Harmonic parts and all other things are coded.
The none emulated Augmented Hybrid instruments that i don't think should be a part of V-Collection, as they are'nt emulations, also have sample modules - but also coded synth modules.
Arturias Pianos are modelled. They use no samples.
In example a Arturia synth that originally did'nt use samples for anything at all also use no samples at all in Arturias emulations.
Only things that also originally was tapes or samples including waveforms in some synths are samples in Arturias instruments. The rest is emulated using code.
Does'nt the product pages show this?
