Make MicroFreak patches available for the MiniFreak
« on: December 02, 2022, 09:57:34 am »
Hi guys.

Wonderful job you've done with the MiniFreak as a whole. I'm in love, again - just as I was when I first bought the MicroFreak.

I've got a fairly big collection of patches on my MicroFreak, but I would love to further develop these on the MiniFreak. Is there any way to make the older patches available for the MiniFreak?

I realise you - Arturia - want to market the MicroFreak and MiniFreak as two different products, but I think the option to further add to MicroFreak patches on the MiniFreak would fit great into the marketing of the MiniFreak being "an evolved MicroFreak".

I hope you will consider this :)

I wonder if at least an external software could be written that converts MicroFreak patches (as good as possible) to the MiniFreak... ;)

+1  That would be awesome...

Or perhaps even a "MicroFreak emulation mode" which disables the 2nd oscilator etc...
which would allow us to build MicroFreak patches in the studio on the MiniFreak (V)
that can be played on the MicroFreak when touring :-)
