I have written about similar issues before and have seen others write of similar here and elsewhere, but I am going to give it a go...
I have my KSP connected to computer via USB. I have configured everything in Ableton for Ableton to be the Parent/Master. I can play notes on the KSP, and they will be recognized by Ableton when just pressing keys. However if I step record a sequence and then hit play on the KSP, the notes are no longer seen in Ableton. If I go into Ableton's midi settings, I can toggle the SYNC checkbox for the KSP off/on and the sequence will then start playing in Ableton. If I stop the sequence on the KSP and start again. Everything starts again, and I have to toggle SYNC again.
Any advice on what might be going on?
