Korg MS20 Legacy Controller midi mapping
« on: November 20, 2022, 03:08:47 pm »
just curious if there will be any further development in the midi learn area to be able to fully use the Korg Legacy MS20 midi controller....

i've been able to map all the knobs (as they use standard CCs) but the momentary button sends polyphonic aftertouch which is not a mapping option...in a DAW, I suppose could remap the incoming p.a. to a CC message, but sometimes i just like to play with the standalone version...

it would also be cool if the patch cable can be CC'd as well (they use standard CC messages when a physical cable is plugged in on the controller) but there must be some sort of internal circuitry that allows the Legacy software to know which two ports are connected to the same patch cable...i can understand if this can't be done but doesn't hurt to ask ;)

in any event, these two features aren't critical but just thought it be cool if i could fully use the controller...

cheers!
