In-Use Partials\Mixer
« on: April 03, 2021, 04:44:33 pm »
Hi

I think it would be super useful if the "Engine" page indicated which partials were in use (ie volume is greater than zero)? At the moment when looking the Engine page, unless I've missed something, there is no way to know which partials are influencing the sound you are hearing and you have to switch to the Mixer page to find out, Just shading the partials tab would be enough?

Just wanted to second this request and suggest that both the "partial" and "screen" views should show which partials are active. I have just started using Synclavier V2 and in common with the other Arturia softsynths I learn how they work by taking apart the presets which interest me. Not to show which partials are active seems perverse as the interface is effectively hiding information from the user. There come a point where the slavish visual emulation of the original synth becomes counter-productive.
