keystep aftertouch curve
« on: August 28, 2021, 12:57:13 am »
Hi.

I mainly bought the keystep because of its aftertouch feature.
But I was just wondering if anyone had the same issue that you have to press those keys very hard in order to get aftertouch? My fingers already hurt after playing just 5minutes.
Also the sensitivity is more like 0 or 1 instead of a nice a soft transition.

I tried changing the aftertouch curve but I couldn`t really make out a difference, I even think originally its set to "log", which is probably already the one which should give a better response without pressing too hard?
Or should I use "soft" in this case? Also the midi controlcenter doesnt really let me to test those settings. Opening my DAW in the background wont work as it can just connect either to daw or to the controlcenter.
