Multi Mode and Sub Osc
« on: March 04, 2021, 12:57:44 pm »
Hi, couple of questions:

1. How do you edit the different zones in multimode (which I am learning and is confusing). Apparently each zone can have a separate voice with different filter settings etc. But I don't see an edit button.
2. Can the sub oscillator be synced to the DAW tempo at all?

Thanks

PS anyone know a good tutorial for MultieMode? I'm struggling with the manual

Hi,

1. How do you edit the different zones in multimode (which I am learning and is confusing). Apparently each zone can have a separate voice with different filter settings etc. But I don't see an edit button.
In the MULTI section in Advanced view, click the "Single patch" number that's chosen for a voice and click the "Create New Group" in the pop up drop down menu to be able to create new settings for one of up to 4 patches.
Click the availble patches to select one of those  that's allready created.
Create or select a patch for each voice, that have a Zone selected.

To edit a patch, then you select the same patch in the dropdown menu again.

I suggest you look at the factory preset "3 Parts Split", that's actually 4 setiings in 4 Zones with 3 Split points.
Try to edit the settings for a patch by selecting a patch used for a voice again. You'll now be able to edit the patch that voice and other voices that use the same patch have.

(Use the Preset Settings "Multi" in the Side panel Settings to add voices, if it's needed.)

2. Can the sub oscillator be synced to the DAW tempo at all?
The Sub Osc can't midi sync like the instrument line LFO's can.

Hope this helps.
