Can you select chord type by MIDI?

Is it possible to select the chord type via MIDI? I can't find a MIDI control chart, and I had an idea to create a little button pad to sit next to the Keystep 37 that would allow me to select the chord type with one hand and play a single note with the other hand to play that chord type.

Maybe try to change the chord button with MMC and monitor mode opened for seeing if a message is received ?

tried that and unfortunately don't see any data coming from any of the knobs except when in CC mode
