I dropped my MicroFreak, Now no sound, only static
« on: February 02, 2021, 02:57:10 pm »
Help please  :( I tripped over the power cable as I was getting up from my desk and the MicroFreak hit the floor hard (flat on its bottom while turned on)

Now there is only static coming out of the audio outputs. What have I done? What can I do to fix this?  :'(

Welcome

Sorry to hear that dude but I'm sure you are aware it could be literally anything. No one is going to know what's wrong with it without opening it up.

My advice would be to raise an official ticket through Arturia, they''l probably be able to tell you where to send it for repair. This is primarily a users' forum, not an official communication channel with Arturia staff.

Good luck getting it sorted. Sh-t happens doesn't it.

Might be something as simple as just a ribbon connector becoming dislodged, but no one can really tell remotely.
