LED Brightness Control
« on: October 28, 2020, 02:45:46 am »
A brightness setting for the LEDs would be nice.  The current level is way too bright.  Looks like this feature was added to an update for the Keystep so hopefully this is doable on the Pro as well.

Welcome to the forum.
Your request has been mentioned before. Too bad you didn’t search or find the old topic and continue the discussion.

Thanks, I did search and it didn't show up.  Glad that the request is already out there.  Hopefully the feature is possible, the current brightness level reduces the quality of the user experience for me.  In the meantime, I covered the LEDs with sticker paper, but that's a kinda janky solution.

Adding my vote for LED brightness control on the Keystep Pro. I'm really rather surprised this isn't a thing, as it's been on the basic Keystep for quite some time, a little controller near and dear to my heart! Please add this capability to the Keystep Pro!

You can power it from USB and the LEDs will be duller. Strangely enough they stand this way after connecting barrel power. And vice versa which is surely not wanted :)

Hello,

I just received my Beat Step Pro, I can´t stand the awful led lights, if the machine has no brightness controll I will have to return it.

I do not find it on the manual and I am very dissapointed.
