Sonar 4 and Mg Modular V 2
« on: April 29, 2005, 12:19:47 am »
I've been trying to use Mg Modular in Sonar as a DXi instrument, but after one minute recording, MMV causes a dropout.
I have already tried to remove Reason, but I still have the same problem. When I record using only Reason or other DXi's, there's no problem at all. It only happens when I try to use MMV.

I have a P4 HT (BIOS enabled HT) box, with 1GB RAM (DDR 400), a Midiman 2x2, an Audigy Platinium EX soundcard and my HD's got 120GB space (unfragmented).

How may I solve this?

Thanks

how do you exactly try to use the MMV in Sonar ?
I suppose you have a sequence playing with the MMV, did you try to render this sequence to audio ?
What about the patch you used in terms of CPU ?

Hyperthreading wreaks havoc on ReWire devices. I have also seen issues with Sonar and HT. Try disabling hyperthreading and see if the problem goes away.
