Any chance of having the step sequencer show
« on: July 14, 2016, 05:34:35 pm »
Any chance of having the step sequencer show semitones at the moment you have absolutely no clue as to what one is setting the values to just some obscure number.  When you add more steps the display continues to display step 1.

Thank you

Surely this have to be fixed.  It's clear bugs.

Regarding todays update of JUP-8 V3 to version 3.0.4.1078 after a short test.

Unfortunately the values for steps is not corrected. Unless it's possible to change to pitch in semitones, then one need to calculate. This is no good, and in many ways this alone unfortunately still make the sequencer useless. This should be fixed soon. A table to see what value to set for a certain semitone could help, but it's still not good enough. It shall be possible to see the semitones in the value display, just like it was in version V2. This is essentiel. Why is this not fixed?

Arturia we have been waiting way to long allready for updates. And then when they finally come, you have not fixed that much.
Why have even such important things like this not been fixed?

In the old Jupiter the Q - Quantized value could also be seen. It's just about showing that value so one does'nt have to calculate the steps.

This issue is unfortunately still not fixed in the new update version 3.3.1391. Why not?
It's very disapointing. It worked in Jupiter8 V2.

Hmm, yes, really. Frankly to say i just now did notice it, should be done as in v2 definitely.
In general, need to say, the values displaying system in v2 was done more convenient visually, i mean when values appear near to adjustable knob, in yellow frame.

I came to ask pretty much the same question. I literally have no idea what those numbers relate to. I'd have hoped they were semitones eg 0.5 = 1 semi, 1 = 2 semi etc but having checked some of the sound sets I bought from Arturia, they have numbers like 1.552 so I really have no idea what to put in to get specific notes.
