Not sure what are you referring to, about "4 knobs inside each of the 8 macros";
Analog Lab has 8 Macros in the live/ mixer part. Please refer to the manual section 3.10. Macros and Controller Assignments.
Each of those macros can control up to 4 parameters. When you click below each macro knob, then a window opens, and in there there are 4 knobs. But yes, - they can probably not be mapped.
