Keylab 49 mk 2 midi clock Issues

I can't get my New Keylab to send midi clock from the computer to external machines, it seems to behave differently depending on the device and either sends very erratic clock or double speed or nothing atall.
Hopefully I'm doing something wrong, can anyone help ?

I don't have a Keylab MKII. But afaik it does'nt send out any midi clock. Nothing in the manual about it.
How do you set the tempo?

Are you refering to the Preset sequences in Analog Lab?

I am trying to transmit midi clock from the computer to external machines using the keylab,tempo is set in the DAW. Any other midi keyboard does it and my minibrute does it fine, so if the MK 2 can't then it's no use to me.

To me it sounds like you mix things up.

This is not about tempo syncing the Keylab MKII controller it self. It does have any sequencer or ARP, and does'nt have any onboard sounds. As you use the DAW to set tempo, then you in this case also don't need the controller to send a clock.

I think you talk about analog Lab sequences and arps. The way they respond depend on the way the preset is programmed. Some are tempo synced in different ways with your DAWs tempo, when used in a DAW, and some is'nt tempo synced. You can only control this in the individual full applications, and not if you only own Analog lab.
The full applications in V-collection and Pigments create sequences and arpeggios very different. It's not just one sequencer or Arp.

When I try to do this it plays the instrument at half or double speed, or just plays it for 1 cycle of it's pattern, I hope this is more clear, I'm anyway speaking to Arturia Support about this.

This behaviors is about how the preset is programmed as i explained.

When a preset is programmed to half or doubble speed, then that's the result you get.
When a pattern is only played for one cycle, then it's because it's programmed to do that. If the preset in example is programmed to play one cycle at each keypress, then you need to press a key for each cycle.
Some sequenders can even be programmed to only play one step per keypress.

But all this has nothing to do with the controller. It has to do with the software you use - like Analog Lab.
There are no sounds inside a midi controller, like there in example are in a synth like the minibrute you mention.

Perhaps Arturia can help you better, as you speak to them.
Perhaps i don't understand your issue. But you would only need a controller to use midi clock if it shall set a master clock for other instruments, or if it had a onboard sequencer or arpeggio that should act like a slave to a master clock set by another source.
