Keylab 49 Essential and Samplitude Pro X 4
« on: June 23, 2019, 05:35:49 pm »
Hello,
Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I seem to be having major issues getting any of the midi controls working.
Or more specifically problems assigning any midi controls to any plugin.

Does the "DAW command center" actually work with Samplitude ?
(I figured it would have simply because Magix was offering the Keylab Mini with one of their promos a few weeks back)
ALL of the DAW command buttons do not even show in the midi monitor so i cant even assign the buttons to the transport controls, however from other threads here I see this is by design for some reason.

Are there any setup guides for Samplitude ?
I have indeed visited a page in your FAQ's that have setups for other DAW's but not one for samplitude.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Djreign,

Thank you for using our instruments,

I believe you should be able to integrate the Keylab inside Samplitude Pro x as it supports HUI and MCU protocoles,

You should go to your control surface window and route the keylab's DAW or MIDIIN2 (if you are on windows) and out using one of the two protocol (which you can select through the midi control center)

You should then be able to use transports, and have volume for each track assigned to your faders.
