(May not be available for Apple computers but) it would be nice to use the mouse's scroll wheel to control the mod wheel (for those who do not have midi controllers etc)
Also, the right mouse button could activate the AFTERTOUCH control (for those who do not have that feature and would like to know how it works or sounds)
Using the keyboard, a key could be use (or a check mark on the window) which, when checked, would act as a sustain pedal. That way, if someone doesn't know if they want to get a midi controller would at least see what those features are all about.
