Random Patch Mode
« on: May 16, 2019, 04:50:32 pm »
An option for random patches in the utility menu would be nice.

Selecting this option could open a sub menu where you could toggle the randomization amount per part of the patch. For example:

Oscillator (Off, low, med, high, full)
Filter (Off, low, med, high, full)
LFO (Off, low, med, high, full)
Cycling Envelope (Off, low, med, high, full)
Envelope (Off, low, med, high, full)
Mod Matrix (Off, low, med, high, full)

The options here would determine how many of the parameters are modified. In low for osc for example, only the Shape knob would be effected, but on full, even the oscillator type could vary.

Once the settings are selected, a Randomize option would be selected and confirmed, which would then randomize the chosen parameters on the current patch. This way you can create entire patches, or make variations on patches.

Another option would be to toggle randomization on key press. That way every note played could have huge (or small) variation. Sort of like the AFX mode that another user here asked for.
