SPARK CDM not powering

My SPARK CDM hardware is not powering up via USB anymore and fails to be recognized by SPARK software (V2.4.0) and Mac OS 10.13.3

I have tried to reinstall the firmware via the MIDI Control Centre but the hardware fails to be recognized...I have checked the USB connection via the OS 'system report' and it is not listed in the 'USB Device Tree'...The USB lead is working fine.

Has anyone out there had the same experience and successfully resurrected their CDM hardware?

mine still works, try new cables, new ports, thru a hub, no hub..usb can be flakey sometimes. I hope it's not a problem with the spark controller. Does it connect to midi control center still?

Check the connection via other USB ports, if available (or try a powered USB hub). My Spark refuses to show up if other USB devices exceed the max. possible number on an USB port.
