Some modest ideas about this brilliant synth
« on: March 07, 2019, 02:54:24 pm »
I’m very satisfied with Pigments…..love it. It’s an incredible piece of software. Very modern sounding, but with a beautiful vintage analog soul. The synth is one big “sweet spot”!! You guys at Arturia have done an exceptionally good job!

I put together a small list of things, that I would appreciate to see in Pigments. Some of it has already been suggested by others :)

1. A global fx bypass button. Reachable from all tabs.
2. The macros should also be used as mod destinations.
3. On/off switch for each oscillator (turning down the volume is so …..arrrrgh!).
4. Route each engine/filter to a separate fx bus.
5. Globally turn on/off the hold mode of the arp. Reachable from all tabs.
6. Compare tweaked preset to the saved preset.
7. Perhaps a snapshot function to develop multiple (e.g. 4) different versions of a sound, stored only temporarily. Then being saved individually, if one wish. A similar function is implemented in the Nord Lead A1 synth.
8. Octave buttons
9. Output meter
10. Preset management for the entire fx rack (not only per module)
11. More flexible delay unit

Thanks for listening and keep up the excellent work  ;)

Alex
