Looper/roller on a individual steps?
« on: January 20, 2019, 01:58:35 am »
Hi, I must say that I love the beat step pro but i am unable to find this function.  The Drumbrute does it with ease, allowing me to create snare fills and ghost notes and just overall more excitement to the sequence.  Is this even possible on the beat step pro?  My main choice for choosing this product was to be able to sequence my JDXI without writing in double-time

Sorry if this question has been asked before

Not you can't program it to activate the looper/roller to activate on a step.  The DrumBrute is a newer machine and I'd imagine that it was added to it when they were designing the sequencer for it.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )

Thanks for letting me now...  No fun looking for features that don't exist.  Still no regrets I love this unit and it's one of the best pieces of hardware in my studio!   Im sure the beat step pro 2 will include this feature though =D
