Do Collection V and Pigments take advantage of multi-core CPUs?

Title says it all.
Do Collection V and Pigments utilize all the cores on a multi-core CPU, or just one core regardless if it's multi-core?
If it can use multi-core, what is the upper limit as to how many cores it can take advantage of?
