Access to the "vibrato" parameter
« on: July 10, 2017, 01:26:59 am »
It seems the only way to change the pitch of all three oscillators at once is via the mod wheel and LFO1 to create a "vibrato" amount.
I wouldn't be complaining, but VCO 3 pitch isn't a default in the matrix.  And you lock down the mod wheel for no other purpose when you go this route.

Some other way to adjust the pitch of all three VCOs would be really nice.

You can assign an LFO to VCO 1 and 2 pitch, then select VCO3 Coarse as one of the programmable columns and assign the LFO to that columns as well. Then set the mod amounts as required. VCO 3 Coarse require a different amount than VCO 1 and 2 pitch; e.g. mod amount of  30 for VCO 1 and 2 and mod amount 67 for VCO 3 keeps all oscillators in track here (you have to fine tweak the mod amount for perfect tracking -  it has greater resolution than the +/-99 that is shown in the display).

Hey, thanks for the tip! I will keep it handy.
It still feels like it should be a front panel parameter. The programmable columns are limited, and it sucks to have to use one just create a 3 VCO pitch mod.
It also throws a wrench in the works when audio mod is active (oscillators may not be set to output, or pitch may be severely altered, but you still want them to track together)...

I think I may have overthought my request here...
It would be nice if the pitch bend wheel was assignable to to the matrix.
...that'd do it.

+1 for being able to assign Pitch Bend to Mod Matrix :-)

Experiencing a flow of temporal information now, and in anticipation, and in retrospect.

another +1 add pitch bend to the matrix
