Beatstep Pro to Volca Modular

Hi everyone. I'm so new at this.

I'm trying to connect the Beatstep Pro to a Volca Modular using the BSP Pitch/Gate to the CV in on the VModular. I saw a video of a similar implementation but with a Keytstep Pro. Does anybody know how to make this work ?
