Constant Undesired LFO
« on: January 08, 2018, 02:44:39 pm »
Since ever i experience this constant, undesired LFO on the Mini V.

The entire collapsible LFO / MOTION RECORDER / FX / MODULATION panel is off, there isnt anything active in there, so this ''LFO'' cannot be coming from that panel.

I've spent countless hours tweaking the main panel to find what could be triggering the this undesired LFO and for the life of me... i cant figure out :(

It is so annoying as it is one of the best synths out there, i even stop using Mini V because of this for sometime.

If someone have an answer to this i will love you forever :)

Thanks guys

Hi and welcome to Arturias forums.

I assume you are talking about a detune.

What happens if you try the following?
1. Set the Voice detune in the output section to Zero. It have an impact on the sound even when you don't use Unison mode.
2. Check if OSC-3 fine tune is'nt responsible. (In case you switch off SYNC, then also check OSC-2 tuning. Perhaps it's also a good idea to read the manual about what the SYNC actually does.)

In case it's about filter then:
3. Check if the Modwheel is fully down.

Lets hear if this helps.

Thanks for helping.

Detuning on the output was set millimeters off 0, that alone fix the problem 99%
i'd never thought detuning would create the sound the osculate in that manner.

If i hear in solo, i can still hear the sound oscillating , mainly on the click of the attack, it really is minimal and only noticeable in solo.

Good enough for now, happy , will sleep in peace :)
