Transpose a sequence live using an external MIDI keyboard
« on: December 27, 2017, 10:25:58 am »
Before I pull a trigger on a BSP, I'd would like to know if I'd be able to transpose a sequence using one of my MIDI keyboards.

If the answer is "yes", how straightforward is it ?

Thanks!

Yes and it's pretty straight forward once you get your head around how MIDI going into the BSP works.  Have a look at the manual for more details, but basically you can reserve a MIDI channel for receiving external transpose messages.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
