Two 8pre's on a PC with Cubase
« on: May 14, 2020, 03:44:38 pm »
The manual appears to be ambiguous to me as to whether or not you can actually get two 8pre's to appear as a single 16 input interface on a PC under Cubase for example.with one in USB mode, one in ADAT mode and both connected to the PC via USB.  Is it possible? I want to know for sure before I spend another $799.  I'd hate to have to switch out my absolutely lovely 8pre for a 16 line input interface.

Hi   I think this is possible but I will check  I kind of have the setup of a AFS + 8pre as an adat  so I get 16 inputs   I will try and make the 8 pre master to the AFS to answer your question
