Quantize edit for custom scales
« on: April 22, 2019, 05:25:40 am »
Would be nice to be able to make a custom scale for the cv quantizer. It would make combining the sequencer and other CV mod features much more usable IMO, if that makes sense.
Simply being able to turn off notes I wish to exclude, not talking about scala tuning or anything of that nature.
Thanks
Alex

Yes. At the moment the Quantization is fixed in half steps. I assume there could be more Quantize options.

And if it in example was someting like Pigments Coarse Quantize modulation where you can select the wanted quantize intervals over an octave, then that could be useful for some things, when using the CV input, and perhaps especially when the Quantize function is used for other things than the sequencer using the input A and B jacks, as the sequencer allready can be set pr step, and don't have random note pitch but only random steps.

Having options to quantize pr quarter step would also be useful. That just take you can select each quarter step instead of each semi step.

All this could in example make it possible to create many both Semi- and Quarter tone Scales with the Quantizer.

Is it something like this you are asking for?
