Using Yamaha BC-1 Breath Controller with Keylab 61
« on: April 20, 2015, 04:21:01 am »
Hi Folks

I wonder if anyone can help me. I am trying to use a Yamaha BC-1 Breath Controller with my Keylab 61.
Do I have to adjust any settings? - I thought it would be a straight forward plug in and play but I am getting
no response - the breath controller has no affect on the keys. Checked the manual and there seems to be
no information regarding this.

The BC is working, I have tested it with my friends DX7 with no problems.

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated

thanks in advance

Doug

Hello.

If you have yet the BC1 please follow the steps:
into your MIDI Control Center Press into input of Breath (Back Panel ..the top of the page)
Please setup
Mode : Control
Channel 1 (default)
CC Number :7-Volume
Min Value 0
Max Value : 127
Then Press SAVE.
Go to your BC and setup the GAIN and the OFFSET
I hope this is helpful for you :)

Thank you
