MatrixBrute stuck on "TUN" when applying Tune command (SOLVED)

When trying to self-tune the MB, I hold down "Panel" + Kbd Track" and the LED display shows TUN. But it stays locked in this mode for quite sometime. I have to turn off the unit resume.

Looking for some insight.

It works every time here. The TUN display should go away after ca 5 seconds, and then the unit needs to be left alone for 30 seconds or so after that while the tuning procedure completes AFAIK  (ref. info here). You may have to contact Arturia about that one.

Have you updated your firmware to V1.1 ? If no, you should !
If yes, have you tried to wait a few (5-10) minutes after power on before you start the tuning process ? The synth has to warm up a bit to stabilize its pitch before being able to self-tune quickly.
Also, how badly tuned is it after 30min of warm up ? (without tuning process)

on mine, the tuning takes just a few seconds after a 10 or 15min warm up.
if i wait 30 min without autotune the need for tuning is minimal = the longer the warming up, the less need for tuning

Yep ... after the FM 1.1 update I had yesterday the same auto-tune behaviour as the OP. Is this unique or the standard now?

The display works different now and the duration seems to be longer on my MB. Prior to the update the display scrolled the letters until the "T" was beyond ... now it shows Tun ... and seems to take longer. I was wondering first and thought I had a software crash ... but waited ... and it seemed to have done it's job after all .

How long had the MB been powered on when you tuned it?
If i do it immediately after powering on it takes longer than if i do after 20 min  (then it is done within seconds)

TBH I have absolutely now idea, how long it was on yesterday ... so I just did it now, the MB should have been on for maybe an hour and I took the time ... 4 to 5 seconds I would say until the "Tun" went off again.

Yes I have the update. Before and after update, have same results. I also had several update error messages when updating with the software. But software says I now have 1.1.

I will try the Tuning again today after leaving it on for 15-20 minutes. The unit is not out of tune, I'm just testing the command.

If you had update errors I think you should update it again until you get no errors, who knows what else might be wonky!
